We have set aside a block of rooms in two hotels for the convenience of our wedding guests. Both of these are very close to to the reception, and both are known for their hospitality.
Seattle is hosting two conventions the weekend of the wedding, and inexpensive hotel rooms have been difficult to find near the reception site. There are options near the airport for those with early flights, which will likely be less expensive than staying in the city center.
We have also made arrangements for special car rental rates for our wedding guests, which you can find on the bottom of the page.

A block of rooms has been set aside at the Washington Athletic Club, which is the site for the reception. Included in the room cost is access to all of the Club's facilities, including excercise facilities and pools (both coed and segregated), spa facilities, and several fantastic restaurants.
Rooms are $189 per night for our guests. Call and tell them that you're with the Merrill/Laird wedding.
This block of rooms will be released on March 25, meaning that the rooms themselves will be returned to hotel stock, but the rate will still be available if there are available rooms. Reserve early!

The Roosevelt Hotel is a short walk (4 blocks) from the Washington Athletic Club, and has agreed to make rooms available to our wedding guests for $149 a night for double queen and king rooms (without a jacuzzi; with a jacuzzi is $179 a night).
There are only 151 rooms in this hotel, and with two conventions in Seattle the weekend of our wedding, it could fill up quickly. We suggest making reservations early. Mention that you're with the Merrill/Laird wedding, and group booking code ROS-GF158 when you make your reservation.
